In a historic move that economists are calling "Africa's Marshall Plan", the African Union has formally launched the Continental Development Fund (CDF), pooling resources from member states, the World Bank, and private investors. The fund will channel capital into infrastructure, healthcare, education, and clean energy across all 55 member states over the next 15 years.
